My teaching interests and experience range across United States, African American, and African Diaspora History. Past and current courses taught include introductory surveys of colonial to nineteenth-century African American and United States History, an undergraduate seminar on Black Lives Matter, upper-level undergraduate courses on African American and United States Intellectual History, and a graduate readings colloquium in African American History.
