My teaching interests and experience range across United States, African American, and African Diaspora History. Current courses taught include introductory surveys of colonial and antebellum African American and United States History and upper-level undergraduate courses on African American and United States Intellectual History. Along with a graduate readings colloquium in African American History, my upcoming course offerings will also include undergraduate seminars on #BlackLivesMatter and Black Internationalism.
